A Bit About Me...

​

I currently work in the Jersey City Public School System. I have 17 years of experience in the Jersey City Public Schools and 10 years of experience with New York City Public Schools as well. For the majority of my teaching career, I have taught Eighth Grade math, Seventh Grade Math, and Algebra. Teaching is truly a rewarding career and I enjoy every moment of it. I look forward to adding additional tools and practices into my educator toolbox during my doctoral journey.

If I were ever asked to give my overall definition of this work that we do on a daily basis, I would offer the following; The goal of my calling as a craftsman of young minds and ideals is to constantly and consistently endeavor to create an all-encompassing global learning community with life-long learners. A community where we as educators, parents, and students are continuously learning, developing, experimenting, and collaborating to create the optimal outcomes for all of our learners.

 

On a personal note, I am a married mother of three children and a grandmother of two. In my cherished leisure time, I enjoy traveling the world, spending time with my family, keeping abreast of new trends in all areas of technology and gardening.
